Satispay (mobile payment) doubles users and triples volumes

Government war on cash. But the payment habits of Italians – who are hostile to cards and ATMs – are hard to die. Yet there are tools that allow a soft approach to electronic payments, with the sole help of a mobile phone and regardless of cards and ATMs, and low (or zero) costs for small transactions. This is, in a nutshell, the core business of Satispay, Italian start-up pioneer in its niche, born from the observation by founders Alberto Dalmasso, Dario Brignone and Samuele Pinta, “that in 2012 with a smartphone you could do anything but pay”, as the CEO Alberto Dalmasso himself tells Industria Italiana. The result, six years later, is a company with a team of 65 people and rapidly growing numbers, ready to land in Europe, starting from Luxembourg and Germany.
