The call for UniCredit Start Lab 2021 is now open

Until April 20, 2021, if you have a startup, an innovative SME, or an idea with high innovative potential, UniCredit has an opportunity for you: UniCredit Start Lab, now in its 8th edition, is a call addressed to all those innovative businesses that wish to access a platform designed for their entrepreneurial needs.

The call is addressed to new entrepreneurs in the fields of: 

  • Innovative made in Italy (agrifood, fashion, design, mechanics and tourism);
  • Digital (mobile app, internet of things, services and B2B platforms);
  • Clean Tech (energy efficiency, renewable energy, sustainable mobility and waste management);
  • Life Science (biotechnology and pharmaceutical, digital healthcare and assistive technologies).

The startups that will access the platform will be supported in their go to market through a path full of opportunities for the development of their entrepreneurial ideas and to expand their network. Precisely for this reason, meetings with corporate companies are planned in order to start possible industrial and commercial collaborations or partnerships. 

Each startup will be assigned a mentor selected among the professionals, entrepreneurs, managers and consultants of the UniCredit network.

During the program, all the startups involved will have the opportunity to experience the Startup Academy, a high-level management training program involving experts and opinion leaders at international level. Moreover, in some Italian cities there will be available some UniCredit workspaces for startup meetings. Finally, during  the upcoming edition there will be the opportunity to meet investors, including Business Angels and Venture Capital funds.

UniCredit has been committed to supporting startups and innovative ideas for several years. With the project UniCredit Start Lab, it has analyzed over the last 7 years more than 5,300 innovative business projects and supported 350 start-ups in increasing their business potential , and boosting their visibility. Moreover, UniCredit has supported the School of Entrepreneurship & Innovation since the very beginning, supporting the training of over 500 students in less than three years.
